Heavens!.. the bathhouse business is becoming so competitive in Cleveland these days... great things keep happening at both the Club Cleveland (W. 32nd St.) and the West 9th Street Club Baths... that fabulous roof deck has reopened on W. 32nd and I just can't say enough about the new W. 9th of ferings... hunky numbers abound. .. and go around... once in awhile.

Another Gabby original scoop. .. Disco 92 radio gets lots of feedback on disco sounds from gay discogoers.. isn't it nice to know our influence is so wide-ranging?... they ought to pay DJ's Dennis Cox and Joe Costa an occasional finder's fee. .. and yet another scoop... or this one would be better termed an advisory... for all of you who have been wondering, the House of Pennsport is a legitimate modeling agency... and finally... an apology. to Gypsy... yes, as mentioned here last month Gypsy's Restaurant rarely turns away minors but if anyone misinterpreted that to mean Gypsy's is a haven for wayward youths ... think again .. we

all know how tacky Gypsy can be at times with adults so just imagine what happens when a young'in gets out of line...

Rumors-yet-to-be-investigated dept... several persons have commented that the Elite, a Cantonbased organization that sells gay people mmberships by mail and promises them the world is a rip-off. ..that word is not new to gays but if it is going on under our noses we'd better do something about it....

RONA BARES-IT!

Ladies first... Satan's is just doin' it... April 4 was a biggy for four birthday boys... Joe Combs, Willie Orwig, Jim Burnley, and Neil Milliron.. . go-go boys are performing Wednesdays instead of Mondays and are they hot... a wide variety of tasteful goodies are available anytime. . . latest: is it true Frank's wig fell apart when it was washed and he had to use Tom's wig?...who are the tackiest of tacky roommates? . . . who is Akron's "Fonzie'"?... who is Miss Sonia?.. there seems to be a lot of spring cleaning going on (divorces) there's a North Carolina newey doing a kicky dance called the robot...

Trottin' over to the Hayloft.. Roger is still answering the telephone "Polsky's"... those keys hanging from his right hip are jingling... when Larry Petrasek throws a party, be prepared... it

lasts for days! ... oops, she passed out from exhaustion... there is no difference between a week night and a weekend night in the Hayloft... it's always packed . . . another frequent bartender is John Woodruff so check him out...

Attention: New Bar! New bar!. .. Akron welcomes the Club Lounge located at 1223 Sweitzer Ave. at Stanton... two bartenders are Kenny Wade and Ronnie Wolfe... the decor is "nouveau gay" with an oriental back bar... the tow-barsin-one has an elevated dance floor/light show and an intimate lounge... in its entirety the place can accommodate 350 people and caters to 18 year olds and up... future plans include converting it into a private membership club and sponsoring out-of-state shows, go-go boys... TV and game parlors are also proposed... liquor dispensing ends at 1am. . . the sign currently reads "Nick's."

Another bar (soon to be open??) will be the Gentlemen's Pub... 1104 S. Main St. at Miller ... proprietor Richard Dennison has run into construction problems but still promises Ohio's finest in everything to accommodate 600 people. David Lewis says "It may take Richard a little more time than expected, but whatever he may do, you can bet it will be grand!" well, Akron's waiting! definite information to report on an opening date...

While waiting, Rona's caught wind through the "dendron"... (get it?... Rona-dendron)... that there are more bars in the making... on North Hill at Temple Square.. his popular Address Book has been

However... the most concrete bar is the International American Hotel & Restaurant... it's a fact... you might catch numbers there from all corners of the world... for example, the infamous Bob Damron on the 15th directly from LA... Bob owned his first bar when he was 21 and has since owned 25 of them...

Steve and David gifted to all of Ohio their performance to celebrate their happy 7th anniversary. . . congratulations and thanks...
